Abstract
결론
한국인 사춘기성 성장기에서의 치아 성숙도와 수완부 골성숙도와의 관계를 규명하기 위하
여 전신질환이 없고 교정치료의 경험이 없는 8-16세의 남자 147명, 여자 148명, 총 295명의
수완부 방사선사진과 파노라마 방사선사진상에서 수완부 골성숙도와 치아의 치근발육도 사
이의 관계를 분석, 평가함으로써 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다.
1. 수완부 골성숙도는 여자가 남자보다 빨랐으며 치아발육도는 상, 하악 견치에서 여자가 남
자보다 더 빠르게 나타났다.
2. 수완부 골성숙%계 3(최대성장개시기)에서 하악 견치의 발육단계 G(치근단폐쇄완료직전
단계)의 백분율 분포는 77.14%로 그 시기에 있어 높은 일치성을 나타냈다.
3. 수완부 골성숙도와 치아발육도 사이의 상관관계는 치아별로 다양하게 나타났으며, 남자에
서는 하악 제1소구치(R=0.57) , 여자에서는 하악 제2 소구치 (R=0.73)가 상대적으로 높은 상
관관계를 보였다.
4. 연령과 수완부 골성숙도는 상당히 높은 상관관계(남 R=0.8215, 여 R=0.8414)를 나타냈으
나 연령과 치아발육도 사이의 상관관계(R=0.11-0.52)는 비교적 낮게, 그리고 치아별로 다양하게 나타났다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship of the development of
teeth and the bone maturity of hand-wrist during pubertal growth period in Korean.
The subjects used in this study were 295 children(male 147, female 148), ranging from 8
to 16 years of age, with good general health, none of whom had received orthodontic
therapy. Panoramic radiographs and hand-wrist radiographs were used to evaluate to
stage of teeth development and the bone maturity of hand-wrist and their relationship.
The results were as follows ;
1. In bone maturity of hand-wrist, a definite trend toward acceleration among females
was evident, and in tooth maturation, a definite trend toward acceleration among females
was evident in upper and lower canines.
2. In stage 3 of bone maturity of hand-wrist(onset of pubertal growth), the percentage
distribution of developmental stage G in lower canine was the most high(77%). The two
os of the above were highly coincided with each other.
3. In spite of variety in correlation between teeth development and bone maturity of
hand-wrist, there was the relatively close correlation in the lower first premolar in
male(R=0.57) and the lower second premolar in female(R-0.73).
4. There was the highly close relationship between chronologic age and bone maturity
of hand-wrist(R=0.82 in male, R=0.84 in female). However the correlation between
chronologic age and teeth maturation was low, and different among various
teeth(R=0.11-0.52).
